J.D. Beckwith is a redneck nerd who currently lives in the Northwest Georgia mountains. He has spent most of his career as a Manufacturing Engineer, although he could have done real engineering with his BS in Mechanical from Mississippi State. Instead, he chose to run himself ragged in the heavy construction equipment industries finding more efficient ways to build excavators, bulldozers and garbage trucks for a living.
He reads lots of books, mostly science fiction, and reviews them all on Goodreads and cross-posts them on his blog.
J. D. has been a lifelong fan of science fiction and fantasy, so between jobs in 2015 he decided to try his hand at the craft had always admired.
Now, in between time spent expanding his bibliography, he amuses himself with reading, tabletop & RPG gaming, arguing on the internet, growing tomatoes, and herding cats… all while trying to stay hidden in the woods of Northwest Georgia.
